Mardi Gras

On Tuesday Jaron's class celebrated Mardi Gras. They ate King Cake (it was cinnamon rolls that Jaron won't eat for me, but did for his teacher), made a float for their parade, and voted for Mardi Gras king and queen. Jaron was voted king and he was really excited about it, Hailey was voted queen. Josh, Jantzen and I went to his class to watch the parade. They went around to six different classes with their float that they all helped decorate (it had music playing on it) and they threw beads and doubloons to all the kids. They all had a great time. It's a good thing the kids don't know what you really have to do to get the beads. HAPPY MARDI GRAS!!
