3-Way Calling

The other day as I was getting dinner ready I overheard my kids all having random conversations all at the same time. I went to see what they were doing and this is what I found...

All three of them were sitting on the stairs chatting on their cell phones. It was so cute! They all crack me up sometimes...I love my kids!

Our Easter Weekend...

We had a busy, but fun filled Easter weekend this year. On Friday we started our fun with an Easter Egg Hunt with our friends and some of our family. We went to the park and enjoyed some pizza for dinner before we started our hunt...

Here's the cutest little girl ever getting ready to find some eggs...

And she's off...

We got the kids all ready to hunt for eggs and then let them loose. We told them all that they could get 15 eggs at first and then we'd see how many were left, that way they could all get the same amount. The kids all seemed to have a good time finding the eggs, not that we hid them very hard...

Jantzen had a blast finding eggs. He was so excited for all this candy...

Jaedyn was actually enjoying the egg hunt this time, she really got into it. She kept stopping after every few eggs she got to try and see what was inside. At one point she was even trying to put the eggs back to hide them again.

Here are all the happy kids with their baskets full of yummy treats...

(Tate, Sadie, Jantzen, Kennedy, Jaedyn, Jaron, Rylee, Dallin, and Avery)

This is what Josh was doing most of the time we were there, when he wasn't taking the kids' candy...

Me and my beautiful princess (I love the smile she has on her face, she's so pretty)...

On Saturday we took Jaron and Jantzen to the lake bed to ride their dirt bikes. Josh made them a track to race on and they loved it. Jantzen kept cheating though, he'd cut across it so he could get in front of Jaron and "win" the race. We didn't plan on staying that long, but the boys were having so much fun on the track, so we ended up being there most of the day.

When we got home and everyone, including the bikes and the car, got cleaned up we started our yearly tradition of coloring eggs...

I let Jaedyn join us this year, but all she did was color on her eggs before we put them in the dye. She had fun designing her eggs, then she'd watch as Josh would put them in the dye for her.

Jaron was so helpful to Jantzen when he needed his eggs colored, they worked so well together...

Jaedyn didn't last very long coloring eggs, she wanted to eat candy instead...

Here's the eggs all colored. It's kind of hard to see some of the designs, but they were cute and the kids had a good time coloring them...

On Sunday the Easter Bunny came after church...

The kids all got spoiled again this year. Jaron got three new "Hero Factory" guys, the sixth "Harry Potter" book, a "BeyBlade" launcher and grip, and some candy...can you see the excitement on his face?

Jantzen got two new "Hero Factory" guys, a new "Toy Story" book, a "Super Mario Bros" cartoon DVD, a green "Club Penguin" stuffed toy, a "Puffle" toy, and some candy.

Jaedyn is still trying to figure out this whole Easter basket thing, but she got some fun "girly" stuff. The Easter Bunny brought her two new "Minnie Mouse" coloring books and a "Strawberry Shortcake" coloring book, a "Tangled" book, the "Tangled" DVD, a "Princess Aurora" mini doll with a pony, a new purse, some bracelets and necklaces, and some candy. She loves her new jewelery and it looks so cute on her.

The kids had another fun Easter weekend and I loved hearing Jaron remind Jantzen the real reason we celebrate Easter...because of our Savior. It's so sweet to hear my children talking about Jesus and the importance he is in our lives.

Spring Break Vacation...The End

We took the kids to Legoland for one more day and the boys were so happy to be able to go back, we weren't able to get through the whole park on the first day.

Here's the kids all ready to have another day of fun...

This time we started off at the "Sea Life Aquarium" (it's right next door to Legoland)...

The kids got to see different sea creatures, Jaedyn seemed to be fascinated by them. This is her first time at an aquarium.

The boys, of course, have to stop and check out anything electronic...

There was a lot for the kids to see and explore...

Jantzen loved the octopus and there was even starfish that the boys were able to touch (Jantzen wouldn't do it, but Jaron did)...

The boys thought it was cool that there were Lego scuba divers in the water with the sharks, rays, and fish...

At the end of the aquarium there was a massive shark on display. I asked the kids to get a picture with it and Jantzen was a little hesitant at first, but he was okay.

We then headed back over to Legoland to spend the rest of our day. Jaedyn decided that she was going to plan out our day...

I just had to get a picture of the bathroom signs because I thought they were so funny...

The first place we went was the "Hero Factory" shop in the Imagination Zone. This is what Jantzen was wanting to do the whole time we were there, but we never got that far on our first day. I think the boys were really excited to go inside...

Once inside, the boys got to build any kind of "hero" that they wanted. Even Jaedyn and Josh got in on the fun...

Jaron and Jantzen spent a lot of time building, but Jaedyn didn't last that long. She wanted to run around and enjoy her time out of her stroller. Josh seemed to have a fun time building his "hero". Here's the result...

Jaedyn was loving this wall of Legos, I think it was a picture of a "Hero factory" city...

Here's the boys with their "hero's" they built (they are on top by the big hero). I should have had them hold them because you can't see them very well, but they had fun building them and that's all that matters.

After the boys were done building heroes, they wanted to get their pictures taken with their favorite heroes. Here's Jaron with "Stormer 2.0"...

And Jantzen with "Furno 2.0"...

And both the boys with "Surge 2.0"...

Jaedyn didn't want to feel left out, so she had her picture taken with "Breez 2.0"...she's the girl "Hero Factory". I love how Jaedyn is so interested in what the boys like.

After spending way too much time with the "Hero's", we left and decided to get a caricature done of the kids. We had to wait for a little bit, but we kept busy.

This is what happens when one of the kids gets a hold of your camera (I'm referring to Josh right now)...

Random head shots of Jaedyn and a horrible profile of me, thanks Josh...

The boys were so excited to get a new caricature of themselves. The last time we came to Legoland we got one done of them, Jaron was "Superman" and Jantzen was "Spiderman", they were super cute.

Jaron ended up as a skateboarder...

Jantzen is "Boba Fett"...

And Jaedyn is a princess, of course...

On our way to "Land of Adventure" to go on some rides, the boys saw some huge "Bionicles" that they thought were cool...

Josh convinced Jaron and Jantzen to go on the "Lego Technic Coaster", which surprised me because it was a lot bigger than the first roller coaster they went on. While they waited in line, I took Jaedyn for a walk. We ended up in "Castle Hill" and found our way to a store full of girly things. She picked out a new "Hello Kitty", a stuffed princess pony, and a tiara. Jaedyn had a blast running around checking everything out, she even got to meet a princess. She was in awe when she saw her, it was so cute.

Jaedyn and I made it back to the roller coaster just in time to see the boys take off. Again, Jantzen looked as though he was going to puke, but after it was all over both him and Jaron said it was awesome.

In "Castle Hill" there's a play place called the "Hideaways", it's like a big tree house and was pretty cool. We decided to let the kids play on that for a little bit since Jaedyn couldn't really go on any rides. She had so much fun running around and playing with everything.

After letting the kids play for a while we got some ice cream and then headed to some more rides. Jaron and Josh went on another roller coaster while Jantzen waited in line for "The Royal Joust". By the time Josh and Jaron were done with their ride Jantzen was almost to the front of the line for his, so Jaron decided to join him. It was kind of a cheesy ride for Jaron, but he still went on it. He tried to pretend that he wasn't having that much fun, but I think he secretly enjoyed it.

Jantzen, on the other hand, loved it...

Doesn't Jaron look like he's having so much fun...

The next ride Josh went on with the boys was the "Splash Battle" in Pirate Shores. Jaron loved this ride the last time we came here because you get to spray people with water while people who are watching get to try and spray you with water. The boys all tried to get me wet, but they are lucky they didn't because I didn't want my camera to get wet. All three of them had a blast!

There were a few more rides that the boys wanted to go on, but the lines were way too long so they weren't able to do them. Instead we headed to the souvenir shop to let them pick out some new toys. It took them a while to figure out what they wanted, but they eventually figured it out. Jantzen picked out a "Toy Story" army men Lego set and a "Robo Champ" Lego game. Jaron picked out some new "Hero Factory" villians. They were both so excited to get them and couldn't wait until they could play with them.

Here's Jaedyn with her souvenirs she picked out. I tried to get her to get a bigger "Hello Kitty" that was wearing a pink frilly outfit, but she insisted on the smaller one that had no pink on...she's so funny! I love how she keeps her new tiara on, I was afraid she wouldn't. I guess callng her "princess" all the time has helped with that.

Jaedyn had just woken up from a nap here, so that's why she's giving me a dirty look...

Jaron wanted to ride the "Coastersaurus" again, but no one else wanted to go on, so Josh bribed the boys with another toy if they went on it together...they did and they loved it!

Here the boys are with their Lego sets Josh got them while they were on the roller coaster, I think they really like them...

We had a little bit of time left before Legoland closed, so we spent the rest of the time letting the kids play. Jaedyn loved it! She ran all over, exploring everything...

Jantzen and Jaron found the big Lego's and enjoyed their play time too...

While the kids played, Josh and I played around with my camera...

I had to get a picture of me with my princess, even though she was being stubborn and wouldn't look at the camera...

Legoland was closing so we had to leave...:( So, here we are saying goodbye until next time...

It was another fun day together as a family. I'm so happy that the kids all had fun.

We went back home the next day and unfortunately on our way Jaron threw up in the car. It was weird because he said he didn't feel sick at all, it just happened and he was fine right after. We had to pull over in the middle of nowhere and clean things up. I'm so glad I always pack more clothes than we need and so was Jaron. That would have been so awful if he had to wear the clothes he threw up on all the way home. We did have to find a Target on our way to get some Febreeze because the car stunk really bad. We found one and got rid of the smell...thank goodness! I don't think Josh or I could have handled smelling that all the way home. Luckily we didn't have any more surprises the rest of the way home and we made it back safely.

We didn't want to come home so soon, but it was so nice to have the chance to get away and enjoy a fun vacation.
