A Day on the Lake Bed

This morning we took the kids out to the lake bed for some New Years riding. Jantzen was excited because he got to wear his new riding boots that he got for Christmas and some new riding gear. Doesn't he look awesome?!?!... 

   Jaedyn and I hung out by the car because we still don't have a bike to ride. That's okay though, Jaedyn always finds something to do to entertain herself...      ...most of the time it involves some sort of snacking...      Jaron and Jantzen enjoyed some riding time together...they're pretty good. We do need to get them bigger bikes though. They've outgrown theirs already.       I love Jaedyn's expression here. No, it's not because of any gas fumes (since she's sitting next to the gas for the bikes), she's just silly like that.      Here's some more random silliness from Jaedyn. We drew a face in the dirt on her shadow...she loved it!      She found this tiny stick when we went on a walk and she told me to call her "Stick Hand", you know, like "Captain Hook"...funny girl!       Jaedyn got her ride with her daddy while we were there. She doesn't like to leave before she gets it and she loves every minute of it.       Jaron took a little break from riding to sport some new gear...love the pink hat!!      Josh and the boys all went for a little ride together...          ...while Jaedyn snuggled with Josh's jacket on the trailer...      Josh had to show some of his mad wheelie skills...it's pretty cool to watch!       Jaron did a little showing off too...      Here's Jaedyn begging for some Cheetos...      ...and this is what happens when I give in and let her have some...      Anyone want a cheesy kiss?!?!     Jaron spent most of his time on a track that he made, he can ride on it for hours.      It was a little chilly at the lake bed and after several hours of riding, this is how Jaron ended up...      ...all crumpled up and cold!
