"14 Days of Valentine's"...Day 6

For day 6, I gave Josh some popcorn... 

   ...Jaron some glue sticks for school...      ...and Jantzen and Jaedyn got a new calculator (Jantzen's was green and Jaedyn's was purple)...      Jaedyn loved her calculator and pretended it was a cell phone. She was texting on it all night!

Cozy & Warm

We've had some pretty cold mornings lately when heading out the door to take Jaron to school. Jaedyn has figured out a way to keep herself, I mean her legs and feet warm... 

               Yep, she used her jacket and gloves to keep warm. She cracks me up the way she comes up with these things!

"14 Days of Valentine's"...Day 5

Here's day #5's gifts for my family... 

I gave all of my kids a new little Valentine's notepad that came with a cute little pen...

   ...and I found this pack of dice at Smith's and thought it would be an awesome gift for Josh...      He loved it!!    (BTW, it does say on the dice package that it's for ages 18 and up...I thought that was funny!)

"14 Days of Valentine's"...Day 4

For the 4th day I gave Josh some "Swedish Fish"...

   Each one of the kids got something a little different, but that pertained to colors.    I gave Jaron some highlighters that he can use at school...      Jantzen got some new markers because he loves to draw...      I gave Jaedyn some sidewalk chalk because she loves to draw on the patio...      Everyone loved these gifts!

For day 3, I gave my kids some Hershey's "Hugs and Kisses"... 

   ...and I gave Josh some "Hot Tamales"...  

New Calling...

Last November I got a new calling at church...I am now the 2nd counselor in the primary presidency. This isn't my first time in this particular calling, I was the 2nd counselor when I was pregnant with Jaron. I was asked to be over the scouting program this time. I'll admit that I was a little disappointed about this at first because I was looking forward to working with the activity days girls, but it hasn't been too bad so far. Plus, Jantzen will be in cub scouts in July, so that should be fun. 

Here are the lovely ladies that I get to serve with...(Jessica, Mary, me, and Ashley) 

   (We just barely took a pick of us after only 3 months of serving together)     I'm actually pretty excited to be serving in primary again. Most of the callings I've had have been in primary, so I'm guessing that's where Heavenly Father thinks I'm needed and I hope that means that he thinks I'm good with kids.

Here's day 2 of my family's "14 Days of Valentine's".

I gave the kids some chocolate coins...

   ...and Josh some of his favorite kind of gum...      I made my own tags this time and I think I like them a lot better than what I found on Pinterest.

"14 Days of Valentine's"...Day 1

This year I decided to start a new tradition at our house for Valentine's Day. I thought it sounded fun to get a little treat/gift for each member of my family every day of February leading up to Valentine's Day. I found these cute mini mailboxes at Target to put the treats in and got a blue one for Josh, a white one for Jaron, a red one for Jantzen, and a pink one for Jaedyn...

   Here's the 1st day of Valentine's... I gave Josh some cinnamon bears...      ...and the kids some M&M's...      My family absolutely loved their treats and are excited to see what they get every day. I love doing things like this for my family, it's so much fun!    ***I found the tags for today's treats on Pinterest, but I think I'll make the rest of the tags myself (that way I'll like them better and they'll be all mine)***
