Watching TV...Ghetto Style!

Last Saturday our TV decided, only after four short years of owning it, that it wanted to take a vacation from entertaining us. All of a sudden, while we were watching it, the picture started a colorful double vision...it was very annoying!


Josh brought down the little TV from our bedroom and hooked it up. Since it's a smaller TV, it had to sit a little closer so we could see it. Don't you just love our awesome TV stand it's on?!?! Unfortunately the sound on the little TV is nothing compared to what we're used to on the big TV, so we had to keep the broken TV hooked up and on to get good sound, which kind of makes it hard to watch the normal screen.


I looked into buying a new TV, but it was actually a lot cheaper to just get ours fixed and since we just had to put new tires on the Tahoe, we decided to hold off on a new TV right now. The TV repair shop came and picked up our TV on Wednesday and it's being delivered back to us today...I can't tell you how excited we all are about this. Watching movies on a little TV after you've been spoiled with a big TV is no fun!

While we're waiting for our TV to come back home, this is how we watch in the meantime (the kids actually think it's kind of cool). We had to change up our TV stand because the other one was getting a little iffy on the holding reliability...we don't want another TV to break because it fell off a chair.


Now we just wait...
