Happy Halloween...2012!

We started off our Halloween evening with homemade chili and rolls for dinner, they were both yummy. After we were all done, the kids got their costumes on and we headed out the door to do some more trick-or-treating... 

   We went for a walk to meet up with some friends so we wouldn't be alone...      This year I decided that Jaron was finally old enough to go trick-or-treating with his friends and without me. I figured since he has a cell phone and the kids he planned to go with were good kids, that he'd be okay. Here he is with his friends getting ready to go...      Here's Jaedyn with some of her friends...aren't they all so cute?      Here's the whole group of kids not being very cooperative for a picture. I guess they'd rather just go get candy than have all of us moms get a million pictures of them.      Jaedyn did really good this year going up to the doors of each house all by herself...she was having so much fun!       Jantzen went to the doors with her a few times, but most of the time he was with his friends. This is the last Halloween that he gets to go trick-or-treating with his friend Jansen. I doubt that he'll ever have another good friend with his name.      Jaedyn was okay with Jantzen hanging out with his friends because she had her own friends to hang out with. These girls stayed together most of the night and they were just so cute together. I love how they were holding hands...          One of the last stops we made was at our neighbor's house. He dressed up this year and scared some of the kids, but my kids knew who he was and they weren't afraid of him at all. He gave all the kids some candy and when we got home we found out that he had brought over three big canisters of Snickers, one for each of the kids. Every year he gives my kids large candy bars (sometimes 5 or 6 each), but the rest of the trick-or-treaters get regular candy...my kids are just special, I guess.       On our way home I captured a picture of the moon because I thought it looked awesome...      It has been such a crazy busy day today, but my kids have all had a fun time and so all the tiredness that I feel right now is okay...I'm going to bed now!
