Spring Break Vacation...Day 2

On our second day of vacation we didn't do as much, we were happy to just relax. The kids just played in the morning for a while and their favorite place to play at Aunt Vicki's house is in the playhouse in her back yard. It had a kitchen, washer and dryer, table with chairs, a vanity, and lots of other toys to play with. The kids all thought it was so cool. That's where Jaron and Jantzen would go to play their DS's (unfortunately they didn't stay there long enough for me to get a picture of them). However, Jaedyn was kind enough to give me a tour of the place...right after she fixed her hair...


It was so cute watching her use the toy curling iron to fix herself all up...



After lunch we took the kids to play at a park by Vicki's house, then we let them swim in her community pool, they had a blast there. Jaedyn didn't last very long in the pool before she was ready for a nap, but she did enjoy the little time she did swim. After Jaedyn went down for a nap Josh played in the pool with the boys while I enjoyed the hot tub. Jaron and Jantzen went back and forth between the hot tub and the pool, I'm not sure which one they liked better.

After sitting in the hot tub for a while, Josh and I got out to relax in the sun. Unfortunately, it was a little colder than the day before at the beach, so we both ended up all wrapped up in towels while the boys kept swimming. I think we both might have fallen asleep for a little bit too, that's how relaxed we were.

Later that night, after dinner, we took the kids to get ice cream at Baskin Robbins, they all seemed to enjoy it...just look at their smiling faces...



Jantzen was brave and tried a new flavor...a rainbow sherbet, and he loved it.


Jaedyn had one of my favorites...cookies and cream ice cream, and she loved it.


Jaron got his usual...chocolate, and he loved it. We really tried to get him to try a different flavor, but he wouldn't. He's a stubborn kid sometimes!


There was music playing as we were enjoying our ice cream and it didn't take Jaedyn very long to get her groove on. She gave us a show while we finished up eating. It was so cute watching her dance, she was having such a good time. We did eventually have to take her ice cream cone away from her because it was melting and she was too busy dancing to finish eating it...



Of course, Jaedyn can't be the only one that gives us some dessert entertainment, so Jaron and Jantzen quickly got up to join her.

Jaron just made funny faces because he doesn't really like to dance in front of us...


Jantzen gave us a peek of his robot dancing skills. He was making all of us laugh...



After ice cream we went back to Vicki's and just relaxed some more. It was a fun day not really doing anything but hanging out.
