Tartan Walk-a-Thon 2014

Today was the annual walk-a-thon at Jantzen's school.  He brought in the most amount of pledges for his grade, so he won a free jump pass from Flip-n-Out...he was so excited!

    I was in charge of the walk-a-thon this year, so I decided to set up a few different things for the kids to do as they went around the field instead of them just walking...because that gets boring.  On one side of the field I put up cones for the kids to run through...       ...then there were dots that the kids had to jump on...       On another end of the field there were jump ropes for the kids to run through, but I didn't get there in time to get a picture of Jantzen doing that.
Jantzen's favorite part, as well as the rest of the kids, was the mister that Josh made...              Everyone loved that part because it was a really warm day.  I think Jantzen would've stayed at that part all day if I had let him.
Here's Jantzen with some of his friends...       Here he is trying to act "cool" with his best friend, JoseAlfredo...     Jantzen and his friends had a really fun time at the walk-a-thon this year, I'm glad it's over!  It is nice though for the kids to be able to have some more time out of the classroom enjoying the outdoors.  They don't seem to get enough of that these days.  Now it's time to go to Flip-n-Out!
