It was a little too cold for Jaedyn, so she mostly hung out in the trailer (she wasn't out in the dirt for very long, but check out how dirty her face is)...

Jaedyn finally decided that the kids were having way too much fun without her, so she decided to join them. The kids had a slight obsession with digging in the dirt, not sure why, but it kept them occupied.

For dinner that night we enjoyed some yummy tin foil dinners that Josh made for all of us. Since it was late, we called it a night and all went to bed.
The next morning we got up and Josh made a yummy breakfast of bacon (turkey for me and the kids) and eggs. Despite the nasty wind that was starting up, it was all good. After breakfast I helped the boys gear up so they could ride their bikes.

Here's my little Jaron...

...and my little Jantzen (he didn't want to wear his riding pants)...

Jaedyn insisted on her daddy taking her for a ride on Jaron's bike. She'll be so happy when she finally gets her own (in just over 2 years). They both had to sport the "Rock On" sign before they headed out, it's a bike thing...

Luckily Jaedyn and I had our own means of fun while we were there. We usually just sit back at camp while the boys ride their bikes, but Kevin and Nena let us borrow their 4wheeler so we could get in some riding too. Jaedyn was really excited to go out on it, she thought she'd try and drive it herself...

We borrowed some cute little goggles from Jann and Spencer to protect Jaedyn's eyes while we rode...

...then we loaded up together and headed out...

Jaedyn had a blast riding on the 4wheeler. She kept pointing where she wanted to go and she would occasionally yell, "Faster!" to me. I did as she requested and she yelled, "Weeeeee!" the whole time, she loved every minute of it!
Meanwhile, the little boys were all out riding together. Here's Zeben and Jantzen tearing up the dirt...

Jaron's best friend Jace (on the left) also came down, so they could hang out and do some riding together, they had a blast!

The winds started picking up to the point that we were unable to do anymore riding let alone open our food containers to make lunch. We waited it out for quite a while but it didn't die down, so we decided to pack it up and go home a day early. While we were loading up, a huge, nasty dirt storm caught us. It lasted a while and we couldn't even see our hands in front of our faces. Josh got a picture of it after it passed us. It looks calmer than it really was...

Before we left, Josh had to show off his pyro skills, which Jaron thought was awesome. Let's just say what's burning is a secret...

After we got home, unloaded, and all bathed, we decided to do smores that we had planned for camping, but never got too. Josh lit the charcoal in our backyard and roasted some yummy marshmallows with Jantzen. Unfortunately, none of our kids really wanted them, so Josh and I had to eat them...a small sacrifice, I think. The kids just wanted the chocolate and graham crackers.

Jaedyn was the only one who actually did try a smore, but after the marshmallow touched her lips, she was done with it. She ate chocolate and more chocolate, then showed me the aftermath...yummy!

My super cute boys...

Like how Jantzen's eating a chocolate bar/graham cracker sandwich?
Even though the wind cut our weekend of camping short, we still had a good time. It was so nice for Jaedyn and I to have fun right along with the boys this time. We look forward to many more weekends this summer camping together.
