Colorful Easter Eggs!

Today we decided to let the kids color some eggs since tomorrow is Easter.  They love doing this every year.

        Even Josh got in on the action and helped Jaedyn out...       Jaedyn had a blast painting parts of her eggs before she dipped them in the dye...       Jantzen and Jaron were meticulously drawing on their eggs with white crayon...           Everyone got along and had a good time.          The kids were so proud of their eggs when they were all done.  

 

This year we used some Kool Aid as the dye to see if we could get some brighter colors.  It worked out so good!  The colors were so bright and solid...so much better than the regular coloring kits we've bought in the past...

  I love all the drawings and messages my kids put on their eggs!  Some of Jaron's say "Jaron Rules" and "Jaron is Awesome!".  Jantzen has one that says "I am Amazing!", and Jaedyn wrote her name, Josh's name, and George's name on some of her eggs.  (George is the name of her Minecraft pig, in case you're wondering).   I love my kids and their creativity!
