Family Game Night...2014

A couple nights ago the kids and I went to "Family Game Night" at Jantzen's school.  The kids got to play several different games in the cafeteria and the art room.

The boys decided to stay in the cafeteria because it's where the "big kid" games were.  They had a lot of fun...

        Jaedyn had more fun playing games in the art room because that's where the "little kid" games were.  She played Candy Land and Chutes & Ladders with Mrs. Powell and her son Jackson.  She stayed in here most of the evening...she was having so much fun!      The last game the boys played was with Mrs. Jones (their GATE teacher)...it was Scattergories. They've never played this game before and it was kind of funny watching them try to figure out words in each category.       Josh showed up when it was almost over...pulling faces, as usual!      Before we left, all the kids got to pick out a new game to take home...(love Jaron's photo bomb!)       Jantzen picked out Scattergories at first, then changed his mind and decided to go with Jenga.  Jaedyn picked Candy Land, Jaron picked Scattergories, and JoseAlfredo took home Monopoly...     It was a fun night for the kids.  They got to go to school, but didn't have to do any work, which they love.  They loved being able to take home a new game and spend time with their family and friends.
