This year for spring break we decided to go back to California because we love it there so much. We drove down Friday after the kids got out of school and yesterday we just hung out with Josh's aunt, uncle, and his cousins. It was a nice relaxing day.
Today Josh's aunt Vickie put together an Easter Egg hunt for all the kids. Of course they all had a good time because there was chocolate and candy involved...
This picture of Jaron reminded me of the Grinch when he was trying to be sneaky...
No, I'm not saying that Jaron is an ornery Grinch, just the way he was walking made me chuckle a little.
Here's all the kids together after the hunt...
Then all the kids (including Josh and Marty-big kids themselves) had a blast playing on this giant stand up see-saw...
There was a lot of laughing, especially from these two kids...
The kids played a little bit longer on the playground before we left...
Jaron and Hannah were buddies the whole day...
After the kids played for a while, we headed over to the Avocado Festival with Amanda, Marty, and their girls. We enjoyed some yummy guacamole and chips, drinks, checked out some old fashioned cars, and I got some new sunglasses. We almost tried some guacamole ice cream, but I thought that might be a little too much for me. Jaedyn was the only one who wasn't enjoying herself (as you can see in this picture).
After we left the festival, we took the kids to Aero Sports Trampoline Park. It's a super fun place where the kids can run, jump on wall to wall trampolines, jump in foam pits, play virtual games on the floor, slide, ride, play dodge ball, play jump basketball, and have a great time.
When we first got there Jaedyn was loving just running back and forth on the long wall to wall trampoline. It was really cute watching her go...
I think the kids loved the foam pits the most...
Jaedyn was hesitant at first, but Hannah went with her so she wasn't as scared...
...after that, she had a ball!
Jaedyn was the only one who went over to the little kid section. Here she found a small merry go round and a bounce slide to play on...
Then it was dodge ball time. The kids had fun throwing the balls at each other...
After two hours of playing, it was time to leave. The kids weren't too happy about that, but then we told them we'd take them to dinner, so they were ok.
We ended up taking the kids to KFC for dinner and they loved it. It was such a busy, but fun day and the kids all had a great time hanging out together. Tomorrow will be another fun day because we're going to the beach...the kids' favorite place!
